The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Proud & Powerful & Sammy Guevara) vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Adam Page & Matt Hardy)

Inner Circle enters with their own numbered jerseys and football helmets. The Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleaders are in attendance. The Elite come out with no jerseys or helmets. Hangman Page doesn’t enter. And the two teams charge each other in the center of the field.

Match is total chaos as it takes a while for anyone to get into the ring.

Hangman comes out riding a horse and chases down Sammy who literally runs out of the stadium. It’s finally Nick Jackson and Jericho in the ring. Nick ends up getting the better of Le Champion as the Bucks eventually take him out. Santana and Ortiz soon take out Nick before knocking Matt out too. Kenny comes in and dragon suplexes Santana down. Matt Hardy hits a side effect. In return Sammy who knees Matt on his way back to the ring. Guevara goes for a shooting star press but Matt rolls out of the way and Hardy soon hits a Twist of Fate on Sammy. Kenny sets sight for Guevara, but gets pulled out of the ring. An Asai moonsault takes everybody out and soon Sammy Guevara does the same with a standing shooting star press on the outside (Excalibur ain’t lying when he says this match is hard to document). Trash can shots down some of The Elite members as Inner Circle has hold of the offense. Guevara and Jericho gang up on Nick Jackson.

Matt Jackson climbs a 12 foot ladder to moonsault off of the goalpost onto the IC. Action soon finds its way into the stands. It’s Santana and Ortiz double teaming Omega.

Page is shown back on his horse somewhere in the hallways of TIAA Bank Field before they show his saddling his way to the bar. Omega is still fighting off Proud & Powerful and gets salt to the eyes courtesy of the concession stand. They then powerbomb him eight feet up through a propped up barricade. In comes Hardy to save the match. Santana controls The Broken One as he and Ortiz send Hardy into the swimming pool. Santana goes into the pool and tells Ortiz to jump in. He can’t swim, but still is brave enough to jump in to the three feet. They keep putting Hardy under water and every time they do, a different historical version of Hardy pops up. He coaxes Ortiz out of the pool and attacks him onto a table before back body dropping Santana on top of him. There’s a very big bell at TIAA and Matt rings it completely immobilizing Ortiz. He duct tapes him to the chair of wheels. Santana begins to attack Matt and lifts him up for an Outsider’s Edge. Matt wriggles free and shoves Santana into an ice box. He locks Santana in rendering both Proud and Powerful obsolete.

Sheamus had made it his mission to crush Jeff Hardy’s comeback dreams, but The Charismatic Enigma proved once again that his determination is able to overcome even the stiffest challenges. The Celtic Warrior bludgeoned Hardy throughout the early stages of the match, as the iconic Superstar’s absence from the ring seemed to hamper his momentum. Sheamus appeared headed for a definitive Brogue Kick, but Hardy dodged the attack and rolled up The Celtic Warrior for a crafty win.

Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara
Matt Hardy wins with a twist of fate after about 10 minutes of a back-and-forth match. Jericho appeared on the big screen and the Inner Circle was beating down Kenny Omega. Finally, the Young Bucks and Adam Page returned and cleared the football field where all ten men will do battle on Saturday, but keeping in line with the storyline from months ago, hangman immediately walked away after doing what he came to do.

Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy vs. Santana and Ortiz
Santana and Ortiz attack Omega during his entrance. Hardy eventually makes his way out, Santana charges him, but gets bit as the flame pyro goes off. The wrestlers eventually make their way into the ring so the match can officially start. Omega and Ortiz battle back and forth. Ortiz with the bake rake. Omega fights back with a kotaro crusher and a back elbow in the corner by leaping off Hardy’s back. Double suplex on Ortiz, who then rolls out of the ring. Hardy with a side effect on Santana, leg drop, cover, two.

Back from break, Ortiz is really working over Omega. Back and forth forearms in the middle of the ring. Ortiz with a chest rake, does his taunt, but Omega hits a snap dragon suplex. Hardy tagged in, gets in some shots, knocks Santana to the floor, neckbreaker on Ortiz. Omega with a crossbody out to the floor. Hardy with twist of fate on Santana, cover, Ortiz breaks it up.

Omega gets dropped by Santana, tags in Ortiz. They look for street sweeper, Omega moves and Santana goes down to the mat. Hardy tags in and goes for a butterfly submission with the body lock, then dropping down to the mat. Sammy Guevara stumbles out with a neck brace on and wielding a chair. He got hit by that golf cart last week and isn’t looking so hot. He gets in the ring, Hardy kicks away the chair and hits a bit DDT. Hardy puts Ortiz on the top turnbuckle, Ortiz shoves him off. Omega lands a v-trigger, Hardy hits twist of fate, cover, and that will do it.
Winners: Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy via Pinfall

Jericho gets on the mic and says now that the threat of Pete has been vanquished, it’s back to Elite vs. Inner Circle. Jericho wonders where Hangman Page and The Young Bucks are. Jericho says the Inner Circle is writing history and has come up with a new match the Stadium Stampede match inside of a football stadium. He says The Inner Circle has challenged the group to a Stadium Stampede Match at Double or Nothing. He awaits their answer. Vanguard 1 shows up with an Inner Circle shirt.

He asks if the group accepts, we see Vanguard 1’s camera angle and it says “We accept.” Jericho asks Vanguard 1 one more time if he’ll join the group. Jericho says there’s a sixth member to the Inner Circle, his baseball bat, Floyd. Jericho smacks the drone and swings away on it. Sammy then gets in a few shots, too. Matt Hardy runs out to see the complete destruction of Vanguard 1 as the Inner Circle bail out of the ring.
