Zayn is carrying his IC title. Zayn gets upset he isn’t announced as the Intercontinental Champion. Zayn says they need to redo his entrance since he was announced incorrectly and his graphic was wrong. Jeff Hardy interrupts and says if Zayn wanted a shot all he had to do was ask. Zayn says why would he want aa shot at something he already has. AJ Styles walks out and says he is the uncrowned Champion. Styles attacks Hardy. Styles and Zayn stomp Hardy together. Styles attacks Zayn from behind. Styles tries to Styles Clash Zayn but Hardy breaks it up and drops Styles with the Twist of Fate. Before Hardy can do anything, Zayn hits the Helluva Kick.

In-Ring Segment: Jeff Hardy
Hardy says he is ready to defend the IC title tonight. AJ Styles walks out on the stage. Styles complains about Hardy using his knee brace last week. Styles says he isn’t medically cleared to compete tonight and it’s Hardy’s fault. Hardy says he was going to issue an open challenge to anyone but Styles. Styles goes into a Karen-esq rant about how Hardy is working the system. The referee tells Styles to leave. Styles pushes Hardy. Hardy decks Styles.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakamura and Hardy trade armbars. Nakamura kicks Hardy in his injured knee. Nakamura focuses his assault on Hardy’s knee. Nakamura misses a running knee in the corner. Hardy tries to suplex Nakamura out of the ring. Nakamura blocks it. Hardy flips over Nakamura to get back in the ring but his knee gives out. Hardy still manages to send Nakamura to the outside area.

Hardy launches Nakamura at the announce desk, wiping out Styles in the process. After the break, Hardy lands the whisper in the wind on Nakamura. Nakamura responds with a sliding German suplex. Nakamura blasts Hardy with a flying knee off the second rope. Hardy kicks out. Nakamura calls for the Kinshasa. Hardy avoids it. Hardy knees Nakamura in the gut using the knee that has the knee brace on it. Hardy hits the Twist of Fate followed by the Swanton for the win.

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion, Jeff Hardy!

As Hardy is walking up the ramp, Sami Zayn’s music hits. Zayn saunters his way onto the stage carrying his Intercontinental Championship. Zayn calls Hardy a fraud. Zayn boots Hardy in the face.

Backstage, Jeff Hardy says someone fell on him. Hardy tells the trainer that he may need a brace.

Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Styles kicks Hardy in the knee. Hardy drops like a sack of bricks. Styles rips Hardy’s pant leg to expose his knee brace. Styles focuses his assault on Hardy’s knee. After the break, Hardy fires up and hits a basement dropkick for a near fall. Gord buster by Hardy. Styles kicks out. Hardy calls for the Twist of Fury. Styles counters with a Pelé kick. Both men are down. Hardy tries to go up top but Hardy’s knee gives out. Hardy hits the mat hard. Styles sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm. Hardy counters with a punch to Styles gut. Styles rolls Hardy into the Calf Crusher. Hardy gets to the ropes. Styles tries the Styles Clash. Hardy hits Styles in the face with the knee brace. Hardy hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes up top and hits the Swanton for the win!

Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion, Jeff Hardy!

After the match, Hardy tells us how proud he is to be champion. Before Hardy can finish, his music hits. That was strange.

Styles is flanked by Abyss… err… I mean Joseph Park.. err. I mean whatever his name is in WWE. There is a chart set up in the ring. Styles says he doesn’t care about hooligans destroying Smackdown. Styles says he has beaten everyone. Styles says so many people are throwing out statistics to prove who he should face at SummerSlam. Styles says it dawned on him. Styles has hired a team to run the statistics to prove who his next challenger is. Based on his numbers, he is number one. Styles introduces the “Phenomenal Intercontinental Statistics System”.

Styles pulls the curtain to show that no one else is listed. No one has earned the right to face him. But if you work hard, really hard, you can face Styles for the IC title… eventually. Jeff Hardy interrupts. Hardy says he respects Styles but Hardy didn’t get his fair chance at the title during the IC title tournament. Hardy says the IC title is special to him. It’s the first title he won on his own. Hardy challenges Styles to a title match. Styles says statistics aside, he admires and respects Hardy. Styles says hell no. Styles says this isn’t a pity party. Hardy attacks Styles. Hardy drops Styles with a Twist of Fate. Hardy signs his name on Styles whiteboard.

Jeff Hardy vs. King Corbin
Corbin and Hardy trade strikes. Hardy lands a basement dropkick followed by a splash. Hardy calls for the Twist of Fury but Corbin punches Hardy in the throat. Hardy tries it again but Corbin counters with a nasty clothesline. Corbin punches Hardy in the head over and over again. Corbin continues his assault. Hardy fires up but ends up running into the deep six by Corbin. Hardy kicks out. Corbin tosses Hardy out of the ring. Sheamus runs down to ringside and Brogue Kicks Hardy to cause our second disqualification of the night.

Winner- Jeff Hardy
