JEFF JARRETT addressed the crowd, thanking them for their support and plugging his appearance at the WrestleCade event and fanfest in Winston-Salem later this year. Really cool piece of business here as MATT HARDY appeared on the jumbo-tron and challenged Jarrett for the main event of WrestleCade, acknowledging residual TNA vs. GFW heat. Jarrett accepted. This got over great and was great promotion for Wrestlecade.
JEFF HARDY made a special appearance and put over Lee and Everett for stealing the show, acknowledging that he’d known Lee since he was a toddler growing up in Cameron. He had done autographs and photos at intermission on a separate ticket and had a long line.

Drew Galloway, Angelico & El Mesias vs. Matt Hardy, Ken Anderson & Johnny Mundo
It’s Galloway vs. Mundo in sudden death. They slug away at the bell and Mundo hits a set of superkicks for two. Galloway tries for a Fujiwara armbar but doesn’t get it, and they collide with crossbodies in the middle of the ring. Drew with a modified emerald fusion, but the referee counts so slow he only gets two; again Vamp gives him hell. Mundo with the Shooting Star Press off the top for the win. To be fair… the ref counted slow for both guys.
Advancing: Team USA #2
Advancing: Team USA #2
-The legends try to celebrate on the ramp afterwards and the Americans crash their party. Demon goes after Matt Hardy and they chase each other around, as Johnny Mundo gives them and the fans the double birds. And now they’ve put heat on Team USA for the finals.
Trevor Lee beat Matt Hardy and CW Anderson to win the vacated OMEGA Championship. Basic three-way formula to start. Hardy screamed at Lee that they were both from Cameron and should gang up on CW. Lots of back and forth action. Anderson works incredibly light these days. A lot of his strikes and stomps fell obviously short some times. Lee was the highlight reel of the match. Remnants of a young Prince Devitt/Finn Bálor. WWE needs to get eyes on him. He’d fit in very well in NXT. The finish saw Hardy eat a superkick from Anderson as CW fell out of the ring. Hardy fed to Lee, who hit a jumping knee, then small package for the surprise win.
After the match, Hardy got on the mic and gushed about watching Lee grow up in the business and how proud he was of him for winning the belt. Lee’s father was also in the ring at this point and some of the locker room were surrounding the ring. Caprice Coleman, Cedric Alexander, Andrew Everett, were among the wrestlers surrounding the ring celebrating with Trevor Lee.
