Jason Jordan & The Hardy Boyz vs. Intercontinental Champion The Miz & The Miztourage

Thanks to Scott Dawson’s injury, The Hardy Boyz missed out on an opportunity to get their hands on The Revival. That said, The Miz & The Miztourage made for an excellent substitution as foes for The Most Exhilarating Tag Team In History all the same.

With Jason Jordan joining the former Raw Tag Team Champions, The Hardys unleashed the full scope of their skills in an impromptu Six-Man Tag Team Match. It seemed as though the bout would come down to Jordan and The Miz, at least until Curtis Axel saved The A-Lister from calamity. That kicked off a three-on-one assault of Matt Hardy, at least until Jeff and Jordan entered the fray.

One by one, The Miztourage attempted to break up the action, and one by one they were denied — The Miz was the last to fall to Jordan’s Angle Slam-neckbreaker combo. With Bo Dallas as the last man standing, he was subjected to a belly-to-belly from Jordan, Twist of Fate from Matt and finally a Swanton Bomb from Jeff that sent him to the showers.

The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Cesaro & Sheamus may rule the roost as Raw Tag Team Champions, but the competition to rise above the pack has gotten incredibly fierce of late, with The Hardy Boyz, The Revival and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson all trading wins and jockeying for position over the last few weeks. The latest matchup pitted Matt & Jeff against Gallows & Anderson, and no punches were pulled in this battle of brothers, both biological and “good.”

The Hardys attained the win with their Twist of Fate-Swanton Bomb combo to The Suntan Biker Man but quickly found themselves in a brawl at the top of the stage with The Revival, who were watching from commentary.

Gallows & Anderson joined in on the fracas, but Matt & Jeff stood tall after shoving Gallows into the LED boards, dropping Scott Dawson with a pair of Twists of Fate and shoving Anderson and Dash Wilder off the stage before Jeff swooped down on them from above with Poetry in Motion.

The Hardy Boyz vs. The Revival

The Revival’s long-awaited return last week came at the expense of The Hardy Boyz, who they claimed had failed to show them the proper respect the first time they met. And while Matt & Jeff may not like Dash & Dawson by any stretch of the imagination, it’s hard to imagine they’d ever doubt their skills after what went down on Raw.

The former Raw and NXT Tag Team Champions went head-to-head in a hard-hitting match that pitted the Hardys’ flips against The Revival’s fists, eventually coming down to the wire with Dash Wilder saving Scott Dawson from several of Jeff Hardy’s signature attacks. When The Charismatic Enigma rallied to set up the Swanton Bomb, Wilder shoved him off the top turnbuckle and Dawson capitalized, grabbing a handful of Hardy’s pants to neutralize him for an ill-gotten pin.

The Hardy Boyz Attack The Revival

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson may have had a point when they confronted The Revival: They did indeed accomplish almost everything Dash & Dawson have first, down to going bald. They even seemed like they would add to their laundry list of accolades by becoming the first tandem to defeat the two-time NXT Tag Team Champions on Raw.

That said, The Revival still managed to pull out the win, albeit a narrow one. Luke Gallows ran roughshod over Dash & Dawson, but a combination of a chop block by The Revival and the unexpected arrival of The Hardy Boyz (who have unfinished business with both teams after losing to each of them recently) allowed Dash & Dawson to hit Anderson with the Shatter Machine for the win.

Matt & Jeff quickly hit the ring to pick the bones of The Revival after the match, but Dash & Dawson managed to get away before a Swanton Bomb could truly take the Top Guys, well, out.

The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Matt Hardy said they were beaten, battered and “somewhat broken.” Jeff Hardy openly wondered if they should “fade away and classify themselves as obsolete.” Safe to say, The Hardy Boyz’ hellacious loss in the 30-minute WWE Iron Man Match for the Raw Tag Team Championship to Cesaro & Sheamus certainly gave the former titleholders a lot to think about, and the events of Raw only gave them more to contemplate.

When Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson popped up to talk trash to the stitched-up Hardys, Matt & Jeff attempted to prove their continued “magic” in an impromptu match, only to be denied in the form of a Magic Killer.

As Gallows & Anderson took their leave, The Revival made their long-awaited return, swaggering down the ramp and feasting on the former champions with a brutal beatdown that was punctuated by a Shatter Machine. Top Guys — in.

Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus vs. The Hardy Boyz (30-Minute WWE Iron Man Match)

The Raw Tag Team Champions denied The Hardy Boyz in the most grueling of contests, a WWE Iron Man Match, by scoring more victories (four) than their challengers (three) over a 30-minute span. And they made their intentions known almost instantly: Cesaro distracted Matt Hardy to tee him up for Sheamus’ Brogue Kick just 16 seconds into the match, putting Team Xtreme into an 0-1 hole right out of the gate.

Jeff Hardy suffered the second fall around the 10-minute mark following a protracted 2-on-1 attack that ended with The Swiss Cyborg booting Matt off the apron and aiding Sheamus in a White Noise for the pinfall. The Hardys repaid Cesaro in kind three minutes later, however, as The King of Swing was felled by the trifecta of Poetry in Motion, the Side Effect and a Twist of Fate to cut the titleholder’s lead to 2-1.

The champs answered right back, handing the Hardys a count-out fall after Cesaro threw legal man Matt Hardy into the ring post at the end of a brawl on the outside. At Cesaro’s insistence (“All the time in the world!”), they isolated Matt and chewed up as much time as they could, whittling the clock down to around 7:13 before Jeff snuck a tag in on Matt and pinned an unsuspecting Cesaro to cut the champions’ lead to 3-2. After Cesaro narrowly saved Sheamus from a three-count off a moonsault, Matt administered a top-rope Twist of Fate to the Irishman to tie it up at 3-3 with under three minutes to go.

The maneuver left Sheamus out on his feet and it fell to Cesaro to singlehandedly save the match. First, he broke up a pinfall after both Hardys splashed Sheamus at once. Then, he blind-tagged his way in and pounced on Jeff for the quick 1-2-3 after The Charismatic Enigma hit the Swanton Bomb on Sheamus, whom he thought was legal. The ensuing pinfall gave the champs a 4-3 edge with 29 seconds left, and The Swiss Cyborg attempted to protect the lead by running laps around the ring while The Charismatic Enigma pursued. Back in the ring, Jeff finally managed to catch Cesaro in a Twist of Fate, but the clock ran out right as he made the cover.
